Extension of a Bordeaux House

The extension stretches out towards the rear garden. It consists of a roof terrace that increases the space of the bedrooms on the upper level. This new area creates a series of platforms that cascade down to the garden, with the central post and floor materials subtly defining the extension's space. The footprints of the original walls serve as the boundary between the old and new house and mark the location's history in the ground. An inhabited wall connects the old and new spaces and features a kitchen area, a bookcase, and a cupboard.
