Renovation of a Bordeaux Flat

The owners wished to retain some of the flat's 70s features to honour its previous occupants while also repurposing the space. The project cleverly plays with the contrast between the old and the new elements. Exposing the structure showcases raw and natural materiality in sync with the pre-existing tiles, chandeliers, cupboards, chairs, and tables. The honest and intentional choice of materials, with their original colours and textures, creates a playful and personal atmosphere. Ultimately, the assignment successfully combines a modern and functional home with the charming vintage elements of the 70s.
