Creation of a Covered Terrace in Bordeaux’s La Bastide District

Our client is a person who recently retired and is living in the La Bastide neighbourhood of Bordeaux. She wished to spend more time in her garden, so we suggested constructing a covered terrace with a distinctive design that follows the plot's boundaries. The patio would be built around a palm tree to preserve it, creating a beautiful and practical outdoor space for our retiree to relax and enjoy. Gardening accessories can be stored under the terrace with clever, discreet features. The terrace is covered by a transparent tiled roof, so it gets plenty of sunlight. The materials and colours were chosen to blend the patio into the original building. This idyllic setting is now perfect for enjoying a cup of tea with friends, surrounded by nature in the heart of the city.
