Renovation and extension of an agricultural building to enlarge a family home

Our architectural practice recently undertook a renovation and extension project in the village of Lugon-et-l’Île-du-Carney. The goal was to blend the history of an old abandoned farmhouse with the modernity of a house inhabited by a family seeking to expand their living space.<br /> <br /> The primary focus was to restore the dilapidated building with great attention to detail while preserving its original structure and historical significance.<br /> <br /> This old farmhouse, once in disrepair, has been revamped and transformed into a versatile space with a master suite, spacious garage, and utility rooms. Every renovation detail has been meticulously planned to preserve the site's authenticity while incorporating modern, functional elements. Additionally, the extension has been designed to blend seamlessly into the existing environment, creating a perfect balance between old and new.<br /> <br /> Our project in Lugon-et-l’Île-du-Carney showcases our dedication to overcoming architectural challenges with creativity and sensitivity. We have meticulously orchestrated every aspect of this assignment, from preserving authenticity to incorporating modern solutions to create a living space that smoothly combines the charm of the past with the comforts of modernity.
